  1. Deposit a supported token for sticky shares of its backing.
  2. Stick more anytime, unstick anytime too.
  3. Anyone can fund weekly rewards for sticky holders. After each round, start unlocking your share over four rounds.
  4. Sticky tokens can have a bonus: partial unsticks leave backing for the remaining holders.
  5. Sticky token rules are set when the token is made, and can't be changed.

    Each reward names who it goes to: everyone holding at the round's snapshot, or only stake that had been held for a minimum number of weeks when the round started. Shares are pro-rata within that group.

    Recurring rewards from a Juicebox project's splits

    In any Juicebox project's reserved token splits (or payout splits), add a split with the reward distributor as its hook, this sticky token as its beneficiary, and the reward group as its project ID. Every distribution then funds that round's rewards for stickers directly — no manual sends, nothing to settle. The routed project's token must be deployed as an ERC-20. A project ID that is not a valid group funds everyone.

    OPTIONS

    Replaces the defaults — "Sticky <name of the locked token>" and STICKY<SYMBOL>.

    When someone unsticks, part of what they would get back stays behind for everyone still stuck. The percentage sets that part.

    Read about fees

    Sticking has no protocol fee. Taxed unsticks can incur the Juicebox protocol's cash out fee; eligibility and the amount depend on the project and transaction. The live unstick quote includes applicable fees. A zero cash out tax does not waive other applicable terminal fees.

    Extras

    By default, only each holder can add to their own stick. Trusted senders can stick tokens for any holder without asking, which suits grant programs, admin rewards and prize bots. Leave this off if you have none. The auto-stick helper is always trusted, and it only acts for holders who turn it on. Holders can also trust senders of their own later.

    The same permanent rules are deployed on every selected chain. The token to lock must exist at the same address on each one.
